An exciting ride back in time

The Philip II Train, a historic train with a 20th-century locomotive, will take you through the Sierra de Guadarrama, from Madrid's Príncipe Pío station to the El Escorial train station.

There, you can enjoy the rich cultural, artistic, and gastronomic heritage offered by both the Royal Site of San Lorenzo de El Escorial and the Loyal Villa of El Escorial. You can also admire and visit what some consider the Eighth Wonder of the World: the Royal Site and Monastery of San Lorenzo.

Alsa offers you the chance to take this exciting journey to another era, along a route similar to the one used by King Philip II, who ordered the construction of the monastery for his rest and that of all his family, past and future.
