A series of tests carried out on different routes by an independent organisation showed that our state-of-the-art air conditioning systems completely renew the air inside our long-distance vehicles every 2-3 minutes by bringing in fresh air from outside. This means that the air inside the vehicle is renewed at least 20 times an hour throughout the journey, which far exceeds the level recommended by international public health organisations. In the case of urban and metropolitan services, the air is renewed approximately once per minute

To further improve indoor air quality, we have installed in much of the fleet air purifiers and bioactive carbon filters that remove 99% of particles and destroy biological pollutants such as bacteria and viruses.

In each case, our drivers regulate the air conditioning system with an external air supply providing optimum levels of comfort and ventilation, deactivating the internal air recirculation function to ensure that the air inside the vehicle is replaced with external air.

We have reinforced all disinfection measures on buses, we follow a strict cleaning and disinfection protocol. In this way, we guarantee a thorough cleaning and disinfection of the vehicles with a minimum daily periodicity, paying special attention to the elements of greater contact such as: access buttons, handles, handrails, armrests, seat back and headrest, individual trays, WC , etc.

We use highly effective viricidal products, authorized by the Ministry of Health, and applied by trained personnel for their correct use.

On our long-distance services, we have installed type-C ultraviolet lamps to automatically disinfect the toilets after each use. We have also removed the floor mats to facilitate cleaning and disinfection.
