- Only one pass per person, route (departure and destination point) and period.
- Travel period on sale: 1 January – 30 April 2025.
- You may cancel your pass as long as you have not started to use it; this must be done within the validity period of the pass.
- Also available if you would like to travel in Supra class; simply pay the difference.
- For sale on the website, app, self-service machines and points of sale.
- To purchase the pass, you are required to pay a deposit.
- Free passes may only be redeemed for services provided by the administrative concession of the pass purchased. During the purchase process, these services are marked with a white star on a green background at the top right-hand side of each service.
- Tickets issued using the free pass may be changed or cancelled as long as this is done at least 24 hours in advance.
- Only one return trip may be booked per day. To book another trip for the same day, you must first cancel your prior booking for that day.
- Tickets may not be purchased for consecutive trips if at least triple the journey time (one way) has not passed between each trip. In other words, if you are travelling on a bus that departs at 8 a.m. with a journey time of one hour, you will have to wait at least three hours to redeem another ticket, in this case, for the bus that departs at 11 a.m. (1x3).
- When redeeming a ticket using your free pass, only the services for which you may use your free pass are shown.
- In December, Alsa will give away points to its Alsa Plus customers who used a Free Pass to travel in 2024.
- The points will be obtained for trips made up to 16 December 2024 using a Free Pass.
- Tickets purchased with the Alsa Plus card.
- The number of points earned will depend on the base price of the ticket (base fare of the Comfort service without discount). You will receive one point for every euro on tickets costing between €1.00 and €9.99, and four points for every euro on tickets costing €10 or more.
- These points may be redeemed throughout 2025.
- To purchase a free pass, you are required to pay a deposit.
- The deposit will be refunded if 16 or more trips are actually made using the pass in question. If the pass holder does not take the minimum number of trips described above, they will not get their deposit back, but they will not be required to pay anything for the trips for which the pass was used.
- If the pass holder does not actually take 16 trips, the deposit is the only price they will pay for any trips they do decide to take using the pass:
- €20 if the ticket price* is €5.00 or less.
- €35 if the ticket price* is between €5.01 and €13.00.
- €50 if the ticket price* is between €13.01 and €25.00.
- €65 if the ticket price* is over €25.00.
*Ticket price without promotions or discounts
- You can pay your deposit by credit card, PayPal, Bizum and in cash (at points of sale and self-service machines). Wallet and Alsa Plus points may not be used as payment methods.
- PLEASE NOTE: The pass will be cancelled, without the right to a refund of the deposit, if it is misused three times. Any outstanding trips will be cancelled and it will not be possible to purchase another pass on the same contract in the same period. The following is considered to be inappropriate use of the pass:
- If a trip that was booked is not used and not cancelled at least 24 hours before the departure time.
- If a ticket is used by someone other than the pass holder.
- Deposits paid using a credit card or Bizum will be refunded automatically to that card or phone number used to purchase the pass, without any action needed from the pass holder. This refund will be paid no later than one month after the end of the validity period in question.
- For passes purchased using cash, the pass holder must request their refund within a maximum of two months after the end of the validity period.
- Only the large family discount applies to this kind of pass.
Free passes for the first four months of 2025 (1 January - 30 April), sold with a discount on the deposit, will be automatically cancelled on 21 April 2025 if no ticket associated with that pass has been purchased.
