Large family discounts with Alsa

Large families are entitled to the following discounts on Alsa tickets and passes:

  • 20% discount - Large Family General Category.
  • 50% discount - Large Family Special Category.

Conditions

  • This discount may be combined with other discounts and promotions.
  • Discount available via all Alsa ticket sale channels.
  • Not available on international routes.
  • The discount is applied only to the price of the ticket, not to the booking fees or any supplements (pet transit, extra luggage, sports equipment, etc.).
  • Independently of the channel used to acquire the ticket, on boarding the bus you will be required to show the driver your ID card and Large Family card, which must be valid at the time of travelling.

If the passenger is not carrying the Large Family card, or if it has expired, they will be required to buy a new ticket, paying the full price, before travelling, as it is not possible to cancel it or to pay just the difference.

How to get the Large Family discount

Showing your ID card and official Large Family card, which must be valid for the date of travel.

Telephone sales and self-service machines

Identify yourself as entitled to the Large Family discount while making the purchase. On boarding the bus, you will be required to show the driver your ID card and valid official Large Family document.

The discount is applied individually for each passenger:

  • When you enter your “Passenger details”, click the box that says “I am entitled to a discount”, below the “Type of Document” field.
  • Select the “General Large Family” or “Special Large Family” option as applicable.
  • The purchase summary will show the discount and the final price.

On the App

If you are an Alsa Plus customer:

  • After selecting your ticket, proceed to “Additional services”.
  • Click on the “Edit” icon by your passenger details.
  • Go to “LARGE FAMILY AND OTHER BENEFITS” and select “General Large Family” or “Special Large Family” as applicable.

If you are not an Alsa Plus customer:

  • After selecting your ticket, go to “Passenger details”.
  • Enter your details and go to “LARGE FAMILY AND OTHER BENEFITS”.
  • Select the “General Large Family” or “Special Large Family” option as applicable.
  • The purchase summary will show the discount and the final price.
