Although it is not obligatory, we do recommend you buy tickets in advance, to ensure there are seats on the required service and so you can choose the seat you wish to travel in.

Also, the sooner you buy your ticket, the better your chances of obtaining a special fare.

Tickets for long-distance routes may be bought at most 6 months before the date of travel. There is no deadline to buy tickets. However, when buying tickets very close to the departure time (providing there are seats available), the system will not permit website, vending machines or App purchases, and passengers will have to visit a point of sale.

Tickets for regional routes may be bought up to one month in advance. There is no deadline for buying tickets on the website for regional routes in Asturias and Cantabria.

Tickets for international routes (with departure and arrival points outside of Spain) may be bought at most 3 months before the date of travel and should be acquired at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
